When you have a system where you know where people are coming from and you know, the numbers and you know, what it costs to acquire someone, or if you have a source where it doesn’t cost you anything. And you know that for sure you can put more resources and energy into that and just crank it up and get more members when you need them. And we all remember what it was like when we were working with our first few members, it was awesome. Everything was so simple, but as we seem to grow and as we add more revenue and really try to stretch our goals, it just attracts all this stuff with all these headaches. And I’m going to show you how to get more with less and actually get rid of all that stuff and cut out all that noise. And the best part about this new model is that it’s proven it works month after month, like clockwork, you don’t need to change or update anything because it’s not going to go out of date next week.

Like most other marketing gimmicks out there. And guys, there are a lot of marketing gimmicks out there where you incorporate them into your business and you learn how to use them. It might take you half a day to learn how to use this new tool. You implement it. And then by next week everybody’s doing it. And then all of a sudden it’s out of date and you’re back to the drawing board, looking for another new thing and what we are doing here. It’s going to work month after month. I’ve used it for a long time myself, and I’m still running it the same way myself and my business and the numbers hold true all the way it’s rinse and repeat. And it’s proven. This means you can stop worrying about marketing and just focus on serving your clients and having the freedom to do the things that you love.

So what is the old model and why is it so broken and how do you come to make the shift? Well, let me explain the old model first. So there is kind of this big misconception out there in the marketplace that everyone thinks you need to do this and that. And the other thing to make money to get clients. So you’re supposed to have a Facebook page and you’ve got to be posting all the time. You’ve got to have followers and you’ve got to have an Instagram page. You’ve got to be publishing content and posting every day, engaging and adding people and just growing your engagement. And then they say that you’ve got to be running on every channel. They call it omnipresence, and then you’re supposed to be linking them all together, making it all look nice, growing your fan base and have a blog.

And you have to boost your SEO. So that way you can build your credibility with the search engines. And they’re saying that you should be doing this every day. I actually saw a post the other day about some five day gym comeback that says that you should be posting on every channel four times a day. Well, my question to you is how the hell are you going to have any time to work on your business, get new members and build your community and build the necessary systems. If that’s what you’re doing all the time, how are you going to get anything for that matter done? When you’re thinking about posting four times a day and doing all this other stuff like worrying about posting stories on Facebook all day, every day, because it’s got to be up to date you. Now, they say that you should be getting into groups, engaging, writing engagement, posts.

That way you can play the algorithm, you know, joining the conversation and growing your following there. And then you’re supposed to get out of your gym and do partnerships and start networking, you know, go around town and ask all the other local businesses and let them know about you and hope they send you people. And then you’ve also gotta be in the press. And you’ve got to find a way to get showcased by your local media. And then you’ve got to have your website done just like this specific way. If you’re not doing story branding, then you don’t know what you’re doing and you need to have a flashy CRM, and you’ve got to do a podcast. And then you’ve got to go live on your Facebook every day and build your audience. I mean, it’s ridiculous guys. I mean, let’s get real. How the hell are you supposed to do all this stuff and have time to get members and get your members results and grow your community, which is really the only thing that matters.

And it really just never ends guys, no matter where you go, you’re going to hear left and right about how you need to get traffic. You’ve got to do lead magnets funnels, chat bots. You’re supposed to have six different membership options at different price points to fit all the different segments of your market. And then everyone has opinions on how you should run your gym, that you have to do PT first. So you should be doing on-ramps. You should be doing challenges. And then if you don’t, you’re going to be failing. And all of this stuff, somehow some way is supposed to get us members. But let me ask you a question. When was the last time you walked in the door and some other local business owner came in begging you for customers and you actually sent them. When was the last time, or how often do you hear a podcast and listen to it and then decide that you’re going to call that up and actually buy what he has the sale.

And when’s the last time you saw anything on local media, on the news. When’s the last time you even watched the news and bought anything that they were selling. In fact, when’s the last time you even trusted anything in the news was pedaling. Yet one has been led to believe that you need to be doing all this stuff to get clients. You need to be doing more. You need to hustle and grind. You need to be doing this. You need to be doing that. And the truth is that all this stuff does is make you popular to the wrong people who are never going to buy anything from you anyways. And a lot of other people who peddle this stuff, they teach these overcomplicated strategies like this because they want to take your money and they want to keep you busy because they know that if they are teaching you a strategy that takes a year or two years or three years, or probably not at all, they can keep you busy and you’re none the wiser.

And by the time you come around and find out that it doesn’t work, it’s usually too late. And when you let them know, they’ll say the concepts have changed and I hate to be cynical, but I’ve seen it a thousand times. And it can be so much simpler guys to get members and grow the business and focus on the parts of the business that you want to focus on. But if you’re following these outdated strategies, it’s just brutal going to be sitting there in front of your phone all the time, grinding out all this content, and you’ve got to make a decision. Do you want to be successful or do you want to be popular? And I know that I would much rather have members and get them amazing results and only be known to the people who actually matter and focus on building things up around them.

So that was a little bit about the old model and it’s broken and I’ve seen people wear themselves out and get themselves into a whole bunch of debt and stress and heartache over this old model. And it is totally unnecessary. I tried this model myself for about three years and all it got me was a bunch of broke fans, who weren’t a good fit for my services and the huge daily to-do list. Not to mention a boatload of wasted time that I’ll never get back. And I still deal with the same thing. Now there’s guys out there dressing up in suits, pulling up in, Lamborghini’s talking about making it rain. And they’re all worried about getting likes and comments and getting every gym owner to share and love their stuff. But nobody’s buying, meanwhile, I’m sitting over here, not worried about likes comments, shares and popularity, but getting my clients results.

And as a result, we have a 92% success rate over three years. That means our clients join us and stay with us for a long period of time.
